Scarlett said in "Gone With The
Wind." "They're not going to lick me. I'm going to live through this, and when it's all over, I'll never be hungry again."
So I love “Gone With the Wind” both the movie and the book, but in the movie you don’t get to know Scarlet like you do in the the book, she’s no where near as shallow. Any way i think we can learn from this quote just change a few words. Change the they to he, she, me, Satan whatever is building the mountain you are currently climbing. And change the word hungry to your trial. let’s say you broke your ankle so you could change the quote to, This is not going to lick me. I’m going to live through this, and When this is over, I’ll never forget how glad I am able to walk 5 miles both ways uphill to school, in 3 feet of snow.. See how that mantra could make 8 weeks of crutches way better than giving up and believing that it is impossible. No, you don’t have to be standing in a once fertile, now barren plantation in rags half starved to death, but you will feel like you are. Your trials when you are in them all seem like we are in a barren waste land but the key is, I think, to know we will live through this and the next 5,000,000 or so battles we will fight. But they won’t lick us.
