Storms and my Rock!

Helaman Chapter 5 vs 12

12 And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.

I have been having a rough time with some very personal and private things along with the frustration from the pain and exhaustion of Fibromyalgia.  Today while I was doing laundry I opened my scriptures( on the phone) and scrolled up and down until I randomly stopped at a book. It was Helaman so I scrolled up and down the chapters and opened chapter 5.  Wow I have used this method for ever to find peace and comfort and have always found peace that comes when you read the scriptures and invite the Holy Ghost But until today I have never gotten the message I needed. It is so cool. i know that I have built my foundation on the rock of the redeemer so when at times like this when I am pounded with hail (and it feels like Hell) that it is not endless and it has no real power over me.
