Good Book

Ok so my scripture study has been lacking lately ok I read a couple of verses and say, "I did it." Well I have been wanting to improve that so when I went to Desseret Book that was one of the thinks I was looking for a book to help improve the scripture study. I found one it is called Please Pass the Scriptures. I am only on chapter 3 but I like it lots. I will share an exerpt, well quote by Elder Bednar.

I do not know of a better way to always remember him than to daily study the scriptures. That covenant is not an abstract notion. It can be honored in meaningful , personal prayer every morning and night and in diligent study of the scriptures.
When I served as a stake president and interviewed literally hundreds of members of the Church, I frequently would ask, do you remember and keep the covenants you have made?" I do not recall many people answering no. When i would inquire further and ask about their scripture study, some would say, "I do not have time ." Then i would ask about their personal prayers and the answer often was, "I am not as consistent as I should be." On some occasions I would then inquire, "Do you, in fact, keep the covenant to always remember Him?"
I just thought this was so cool that the author of the book pointed out that one way to always remember Him is to do scripture study! how cool can keep 2 commandments by doing one thing.

Sounds like a good book. I have been pretty good lately, but finally started again in 1st Nephi because I have hopped around so often I haven't known where I am anymore. Well, I wanted to say thanks for those DVDs. My girls love them and want to watch them all the time. They are their new favorites!
