Teaching Momments

I try to take advantage of teaching moments when I see them but I think this one was lost on the girls. their bed room door opens to the kitchen the kitchen has been cleaned for a week the floor swept nightly. I noticed that their room started to spill its mess into the kitchen. So i told them it is like when we associate with good people who share our values we stay clean like the area between the kitchen and the front room. But hen we have friends that don't do all the things we know we should we start being more like them. Like saying bad words when we are surrounded by people that always use them. I don't think they quite understood but I fugured its never too early to start.
